Dallas Junior Forum

Dallas Junior Forum (DJF), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, was founded in 1977 to create greater interest among women in civic, educational and philanthropic endeavors in the North Texas community through volunteer work focused on children, families and the elderly.  DJF is one of nine chapters of Junior Forum, Inc., a Texas-based service organization originating in Houston in 1959.

Women on a Mission

Since our inception, DJF has donated hundreds of thousands of volunteer service hours to the charitable agencies we support.  In 2018-2019 fiscal year alone, DJF members volunteered more than 13,600 hours valued at $341,824 in manpower cost-savings for the nonprofit agencies we support based on the independent standards of the non-profit network Independent Sector.

Dallas Junior Forum was honored to be recognized by former Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings for our 40 years of service and financial support to worthy non-profit organizations throughout North Texas.  Monetary allocation for grants and other funding has been a direct result of profits from our annual Spring Fundraiser and various other fundraising events.
